Our Story
"Adela's story was always going to end up in a bottle. It just took us a while to figure that out."
Our Story
Nephtali Landin didn't grow up thinking about tequila. He grew up thinking about his grandmother.
Adela left Mexico and moved through Texas before settling in California, where she raised her family without making it anyone's burden. She worked. She held things together. She didn't ask to be remembered, which is exactly why she deserves to be.
In 2024, Nephtali and his wife Molly founded Casa Landin to do something with that story. Not just tell it. Build something around it that lasts.
Adeluna is what came from that. The name carries Adela forward, her name, and luna, the moon, because she was that kind of presence. Constant. Quiet. Always there. The year 1907 marks when her story began. This is where it continues.
The tequila is produced in Jalisco using fully mature Blue Weber agave and traditional methods. Small batch. No shortcuts. The agave takes years to be ready and we're not interested in pretending otherwise.
Casa Landin is a minority and women-owned company. That's not a footnote. It's the whole point. The women who shaped this family are the reason any of this exists.
From our family to yours. Welcome.
About Adeluna
The name: Adela was Nephtali's grandmother. Luna is the moon. Put them together and you have something that means exactly what it is: a name carried forward from 1907, when her story began in Mexico.
The tequila: Small batch. Blue Weber agave, fully mature, grown in Jalisco. Distilled the traditional way because there was no reason to do it any other way.
The style: Unhurried. Like everything worth making.
The tagline: Elegance in Every Drop.
